Safeguarding Statement
A short public summary. It is not the full policy, and it is not meant to be.
Our commitment
Creator Academi CIC works with children and young people from age 7 to 19. Keeping them safe comes before everything else we do, including finishing a session, keeping a booking or protecting the reputation of the organisation.
What is in place
- All delivery is carried out by Keiron Phillips, who holds an enhanced DBS check. Confirmation is available to schools, referrers and parents on request.
- Creator Academi operates under a written Safeguarding Policy, which covers recognising and responding to concerns, recording, referral routes, allegations against staff, and safe use of photography and video. A copy is available on request.
- Creator Academi holds public liability insurance.
- Where sessions run inside a school, we work within that school's safeguarding arrangements and report concerns to their Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Where sessions run as alternative provision, safeguarding arrangements and information sharing are agreed in writing with the referring school or local authority before delivery begins.
Photography and video
Children film each other as part of the activity. Nothing is used beyond the session without explicit written consent from a parent or carer, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how this works in practice.

This is a summary
This page is a public-facing summary and does not replace our full Safeguarding Policy. Schools, referrers, local authority partners and parents can request the full policy at any time by emailing keiron@creatoracademi.co.uk.
